2 months agoFood was great, but I am a very picky eater. That is why I gave them a 4 out of 5 star rating. Service is absolutely amazing. Atmosphere was great, there was a small party of 6 people, a few other party of 2 including my wife and I. We could have our conversation with out having to talk loudly. I highly recommend. It sucks that they are only opened until 2pm

4 months agoBeans n' May hold the title for best restauraunt in the local area. The food comes in generous proportions with reliable and consistent quality. I appreciate the friendly service from everyone in the store. Please stop in if you're ever nearby. You wont be dissapointed

5 months agoI will not be going back. We stopped in for breakfast and it took them almost an hour to bring our food. The waiter gave an excuse that was unclear something about a lot of people but the place was not full so not sure what the real reason was. After about 45 minutes of waiting they came out to tell us they were out of tortillas and would it be okay to just put the breakfast burrito in a bowl which my grandson said would be fine. When they finally brought the food they brought everything but my meal which was just pancakes. It took another 10 minutes just to get those. One of the other meals was supposed to come with hash browns and the substituted potato chunks instead. We were not even offered a discount for all the waiting and substituting of the food. Was not impressed with the food to be so high priced.

7 months agoI’ve had a lot of chicken fried chicken in my life, but this was on another level — the most tender, juicy chicken fried chicken I’ve ever had. The breading was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the seasoning hit just right. The sides were just as good — hearty, comforting, and full of flavor (you can tell they make everything from scratch). The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by Beans and Taters. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

a year agoWent for breakfast this morning, I got the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was delicious!! Fresh eggs and the toast were so good as well. My friend got the omelette and said it was really good. We shared French toast which was also amazing. It was very affordable. Everyone was friendly and we even got to watch the hummingbirds on the feeder outside the window. We loved it and will definitely be back!

2 years agoService was great! Our group all had same choices! Chicken fried steak or fried catfish. Chicken fried steaks were big good flavor. The fried okra was delicious. I got the fried catfish & it was on the crispy burnt side. The old oil taste was strong. Overall it was food. The salad bar was good, there was a lot of brown soggy lettuce. Coleslaw was delicious.
