2 months agoLove this place! Been here a few times and my family and I enjoy ourselves. The four of us waited about 25 mins to be seated but that’s to be expected on the weekend. The food is always delicious and the portions are large. The only thing I thought wasn’t fairly priced was the kids Easter milkshake which was 20$ but whatever it made my son really happy so it’s worth it for us.

3 months agoI’ve gone to this place many times but only felt the need to write a review after today. It was a big rush (dinner time on a saturday) so I write this with a grain of salt. I had the fettuccine pasta w/ no chicken or shrimp. The second our server brought it out I could tell this was not the best of quality. It genuinely tasted like microwaved pasta.. The Alfredo sauce was clumpy and the pasta itself had a funky aftertaste to it. Our server, Jillian did not seem to enjoy her job and when I let her know her tip was in cash but I’d pay for the meal in card— She opened the book to see how much it was then said “Mkay” and walked away (It was 10$, 18% was 11$) That pasta was 18-20$. I’m disappointed I paid for it. This was all after a 20 minute wait during a big rush. That’s why I say take this with a grain of salt, our server may have had a long day and perhaps the chefs were trying to get food out there quick as possible. Just wasent a good day. The milkshakes were good but after the entire experience I was bummed out. The vibes in there are really nice and really connect a modern and retro style at the same time. I usually don’t write reviews but many people hype this diner to be something it isn’t.

5 months agoCame here during the Holiday Season, haven’t been here in years and Wow so glad my husband and I made the stop. The decorations the vibe here is so inviting and amazing. Waitedr Scuba, was so great, greeted us right on arrival and seated us. Food was amazing, my husband had the El Chapo Benedict, and myself the Irish Omelet Gluten and Diary Free so so good. Thanks Colonial Diner you have customers who will keep coming back

5 months agoOur first time dining at Bell City Diner was on Saturday, Oct 20. We went because a lot of people online suggested it for a holiday themed restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. It is decorated beautifully. We ordered Mexican omelette and grilled cheese. Loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Can’t wait to bring friends here to try American comfort food, their unique milkshakes, and cheesecakes.

7 months agoThis was a cool chic spot. Loved the decor and the food tasted great. We only had breakfast foods. My son loved the waffles. Everything was a great portion and the prices were not bad. I would definitely go there again if we're in the area.

10 months agoNot your average diner. Cute mix of retro and modern. Creative food options. Service was really good. Tried a few different food options, and they were all very well prepared and tasted good. Very good comfort food place. Drinks were also good, strong, and creative!

11 months agoI’ve been here for both breakfast and later in the day. The food is DELICIOUS. Service is friendly and helpful. Much care seems to go into the presentation of food and drinks, where it looks appealing before even tasting it. Prices are on the high side for a diner, but I can say that proportions are very generous and the tastiness is a step about typical diner food. I haven’t gotten one of their incredible looking desserts yet, because I’ve always been too full. May have to make a dedicated trip to try one of their milkshakes.

a year agoThis diner was packed, and the wait time wasn't bad at all. The prices were moderate for most menu items. The portion size was a great amount for a very hungry person. The shakes were very creamy and sweet. The presentation of the shake was very creative! The atmosphere was fun with all the different photos of celebrities and pop culture figures. The service was okay with check-ins every once and a while, so not overly aggressive, but didnt check in to often. It's a fun place to get a breakfast special and a nice shake.
