Atmosphere is okay— small to mid sized restaurant but sitting in a booth felt private enough. They have a few TVs as well. I ordered a Chicken Picatta and as soon as it came out I regretted my choice. Didn’t grab a photo but it looked as gross as it tasted, which was shocking because I usually love this dish. Wish my server offered me something else as I ended up leaving a bit hungry lol. Don’t think I’ll be going back and really wanted to like this place as I prefer to visit local spots over chains.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Belle Fonte Italian Restaurant—until recently. I suggested this restaurant for a Christmas dinner with my employer, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. After sitting for about 10 minutes, I noticed roaches crawling along the walls and in and out of the booths. It was shocking and disgusting. I do want to note that the service itself was good. It was a bit slow, but it was during a rush, which is understandable. Our server—and the other staff who came to our table—were very considerate, entertaining, and personable. Unfortunately, despite the good service, the cleanliness issues completely overshadowed the experience. Because of this, I won’t be eating here again and would not recommend it. I strongly suggest taking a close look around before choosing to dine here.
