We visited Belly Busters 3/12/26. Everything was great from beginning to end. The woman who greeted us was super friendly and really an asset to this restaurant. The cheesesteak was spot on. We got an Italian sub to go and the woman who took our order wrapped it so the bread didn't get soggy. She knew we had to travel and took that extra measure. That's service. The Italian sub was loaded with meat and so tasty. Would definitely go back!
We ate here based on the recommendation of a friend and the fact that they seem to have some interesting food on the menu. Other than many customer uploaded pictures of their menu, there are no official copies of their menu that are current. Their website appears to be abandoned. They have a Facebook page, which also looks dormant. They should spend a few bucks to build a proper website complete with online ordering and/or integration with DoorDash or Grubhub. We had the chicken fingers meal, shrimp and grits bites, Reuben egg rolls, and a large Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich. All of which were VERY expensive. Our bill for the two of us was over $50... At a fine dining establishment, that might be reasonable. However, NOT at a neighborhood sub shop. The food itself was just ok. The chicken strips looked like something from the frozen section at Walmart. The shrimp bites were ok but not worth the price. The Reuben egg rolls were great, but again, not worth the price. The Po' Boy sandwich was ridiculously over-priced and meager. I would expect twice as much shrimp than what they served. It was mostly lettuce and tomato with only a half dozen or so shrimp. The dining area reminded me of a laundromat in the ghetto section of town; rundown, tired, dirty, oddly laid out. It needs to be refreshed. I guess their main thing is take out, not eating in. Overall, we might go here if we are in the immediate area but it doesn't warrant going out of your way to specifically eat here.
Absolutely horrible service. Had an order call in... then got to the store and waited another 41 min for 1 stinking sandwich!!! This place needs to hire better quality people. The first thing you notice when your walk into the store, is that it smells like an unclean bathroom.... very gross. I couldn't see how people were actually sitting and eating a sandwich.
