Any good reviews for the Clarks Summit location must be from people who haven't tried the Peckville or Greenridge locations. I have given this Clarks Summit location four separate tries, with significant time in-between. Each time, they have dropped the ball in one way or another: taking twice as long as promised to complete an order, giving cold food and in poor presentation, forgetting several items of the order, and once even giving me someone else's completely different order because they weren't paying any attention whatsoever (I luckily caught this error in the parking lot just before leaving). Also, we've never bothered dining-in at this location. The other locations actually feel like a fun, energetic sports bar location. This one is a strip-mall-style storefront with cold fluorescent lighting, drippy ceilings and wall-mounted TVs that have the "Are you still watching?" buttons permanently on-screen because none of the employees care. In general, I love Benny's. But after trying forgiveness three times, I will never go to this one again. PLEASE skip this one and make the trip out to Peckville or Greenridge. This location isn't it.
No regard for customers! My bf and I went in to order, it was around 4:30pm and we had been traveling since 8:30am. I go up to the cash register and ask for a menu, we stand there right in front of them looking at the menu, and at this point we are so hungry we can’t decide what to eat, everything looked good! There were 3-4 employees in the front alone, one lady came up to us and told us they weren’t doing any dine-in orders, only to-go. Okay fine, eating wings in a car while traveling doesn’t sounds like the most fun thing but hey, we are starving, so we continue looking at the menu. Finally, we let the ladies at the register know we are ready to order, one of them tells us they aren’t taking orders in-store!? HOLD ON. You NOW tell us you aren’t taking orders in-store, after you clearly tell us this is the menu, another lady tells us to-go only, and NOW we can’t tell them face to face what we want to eat? We have to CALL. This place is ridiculous, just go to any of the other many restaurants around. Not worth the nonsense
