Bottom line, you want good chicken, look no further. Been here multiple times and it’s always delicious. The dining space is basic, but clean, if a little worn. If soccer isn’t on the screens, it’s NEWSMAX. So, take from that what you will.
HORRIBLE FOOD. I was around the area and wanted to try this. Only construction men have the stomach for that food.
Incredible Charcoal BBQ chicken Peruvian style. Excellent food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Chicken, soups rice and delicious sides. A great find.
Came in here on a rainy and cold February day. The restaurant had three other customers who were enjoying their meals in store. I chose to get the chicken soup. The lady at the counter said she would let me know when the food was ready. It cost $15 for a large portion of soup, yams/yucca, carrot and reasonably sized chicken portions. The flavor was great and I was even asked if I’d prefer rice or tortillas. I chose the rice which was also very flavorful. I also purchased a bottle of Kirkland water. Overall, I would give the food an 8 out of 10.
The lady at the cashier today was so helpful and kind, the chicken here was super fresh and in my opinion some of the best I’ve had in the Mount Vernon area. Even better than Su Pollo! Whole chicken with 2 sides and a salad came to about $30. I only wanted dark meat for the whole chicken and the cashier made it happen and I’m grateful for that The yucca was super fresh and wasn’t the frozen stuff that other places have. Yucca is a must try here!
PUPUSERIA LA BENDICION IN ALEXANDRIA!!!! 7849 RICHMOND HWY Ordered the platanos con crema y frijoles, pupusas con gueso and squash. Very delicious. Flavors all paired well and made fresh!
Super yummy rotisserie chicken place. My fries were crispy and very hot, the chicken was seasoned nicely and was moist with crispy skin, and the plantains were excellent! Very good service, staff were great in helpful me find something safe to eat with my severe shellfish allergy. They do serve shrimp here but they do not fry it, so you can still eat the fries and plantains because they're not fried with shrimp. $1 extra to add plantains to meal, so half chicken with two sides (fries and plantains) was $17, which is pretty standard. Clean dining room, plenty of seating, plenty of parking when I visited. You can probably order in English, but they couldn't really understand detailed food allergy questions in English so I switched to Spanish. That's probably not a problem for a regular order though.
Love the food, well marinated chicken and great value for the price. Strongly recommended.
