The woman at the counter was very nice. The food was not good. I ate only a few bites and left the rest.
We ordered via Postmates, so we can't review the service or atmosphere, but the main dishes were extremely bland. The only things that had flavor were the crab rangoons, the spring roll, the crispy fried noodles, and the fortune cookies, two of which (the fried noodles and fortune cookies) were pre-packaged, and thus difficult to mess up. We ordered chicken with mixed vegetables, shrimp chow mein, and chicken with spicy garlic sauce. I asked for extra spicy chicken with garlic sauce but it was barely spicy at all. All three of us had to add garlic powder to enhance the flavor of our meals. They also didn't provide any soy sauce or duck sauce packages like most Chinese restaurants automatically do. The sauce for the crab rangoons was overly sweet. Finally, the dishes were overpriced for the quality of food we received. We will not visit this restaurant in person or order from them again.
Definitely the best in town service always on point and food is very tasty always come back.
I’ve eaten here regularly since I was a kid. I’ve never found another restaurant that does the chicken lo mein better than this Best Wok. Everything is delicious and I love that they still use the traditional to-go boxes
This is the best Chinese restaurant in Charlotte hands down! Food always tasty and consistent, every single time, great and friendly staff! I drive 25 minutes because this is the only Chinese restaurant worth spending money in my opinion!
So can someone please point to me where the chicken is at? I bit into multiple pieces of my sesame “chicken” and was surprised that all of them seem to be fried pieces of fat with no meat. Very disappointed. This is my first time trying and last. The only thing I can say was good was the broccoli, fried rice, and the actual sauce from the chicken.
Service and atmosphere wasn’t anything special but this place had some of the best Chinese my husband and i have ever had. Fresh, VERY hot & just delicious all around. Just moved here, glad we found it, will be back.
I stopped by on Christmas Day (12-25-21) for the 1st time after not cooking but also not wanting to starve. Never again! I waited in line 30 mins before ever being acknowledged. Once I was acknowledged, it took about 12 more minutes before my order was taken. What I didn't know was that there were technically 2 lines, 1 for online orders & 1 for walk-ins. It didn't take long to figure out that the only people getting food were those who placed an online order, & they had to wait, too. I ordered the shrimp egg foo young, a spring roll, & egg drop soup. I did look at the online menu; egg foo young wasn't listed. I tend to judge Chinese restaurants by that item. That being said, it wasn't nasty, but the gravy was a little thin for my liking. The soup was lacking flavor. I've had plenty of good egg drop soup that didn't taste "blah." While waiting with me, a gentleman told me about their other location which was closed at that time. The next time I'm in the mood for Chinese, I may give them a try. However, based on what I experienced, I'm in no hurry to do anything associated with this restaurant again to be let down. (Had an issue w/Google Maps which is why this review is just now being left.)
