3 months agoFood was good and fast (Cafeteria style turo-turo). A few tables for eat-in but most of the orders were take-out. Staff appears to know many loyal customers and there were many customers. They also have a catering menu for parties.

5 months agoIf you are looking for the stuff your Lola cooked you, you can come here. I had the beef steak, beef "t-something", pandit, and rice combo absolutely bomb! I will be coming here everything I'm in the area.

5 months agoIt’s a little messy cause I drove home ( Vallejo ) but if you want some bomb Filipino food you got to try this spot. The kare kare was on point. Wish I lived closer to get some every week

It operates cafeteria-style, which means you can quickly grab your favorites, from lumpia to pancit to sisig, and get on your way. The flavors were strong and satisfying. The lumpia was crispy and fresh, the pork sisig had a nice sear, and the palabok was rich without being too heavy. The rotating menu keeps things interesting—just know that some popular dishes do sell out quickly, so it’s best to come early if you have a favorite in mind. The service was friendly and helpful. The team behind the counter didn’t hesitate to explain the dishes when we had questions. There’s limited seating inside, but this spot is perfect for takeout. It’s also clean, well-stocked, and includes frozen and refrigerated items if you’re shopping for home-cooked meals later. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Whether you’re new to Filipino food or looking for a dependable place to satisfy a craving, Bicol Express delivers a consistent, no-frills experience. We gave it 4 stars—mainly because the seating and dine-in ambiance are limited—but for taste, speed, and value, it’s hard to beat. 9 months agoI ordered 150 pieces of lumpia for an event, and when I got home and counted, there were only 140. I get that mistakes can happen, but when you're paying for a specific quantity—especially in bulk orders like this—accuracy matters. Ten pieces short isn’t a small error, and it makes me wonder how often this happens to other customers who don’t count. The lumpia themselves were fine, but the experience left a bad taste. I expected better attention to detail. Double-check your orders if you buy from here.

a year agoI came here today at 5pm. Their hours say they are open until 7pm. I saw a lady go into the restaurant. Right when I walked up to the restaurant they put a closed sign on the window. They also continued to let other people into the restaurant. So was this to purposely not let certain people inside? It’s okay I would rather not eat somewhere that the surrounding sidewalk smells like urine. Clearly the homeless use their front porch for their bathroom. So why did they allow other people into the restaurant that were clearly Filipino and not me? Was it my ethnicity? That’s how it feels.

2 years agoDriving back from San Francisco I found this Filipino restaurant in Fairfield that serves Halo-Halo. It was hot outside and this dessert was a perfect way to cool off. Halo-halo is a Filipino dessert which contains shaved ice, evaporated milk, sweet beans, sweet banana, nata de coco, garbanzos, jelly, macapuno, sago, gulaman, sweet jackfruit, ube ice cream and leche flan. I only came for the dessert, however, Filipino dishes were also served as you can see on the video I’ve posted. This restaurant also serves as a minimart that sells Filipino snacks and other goodies imported from the Philippines.

3 years agoI was hesitant at first to try this place because of the reviews, but this is one of those situations where you have to try and see for yourself. As soon as I walked in, I received a nice welcome from the staff. Great service and they answered the million questions I had with a big smile. I ordered a combo of rice & pancit with Chicken Adobo. The Adobo was delicious and the pancit was tasty and flavorful. Five star hands down. Inside looks great and sanitary. This place is very underrated and I’m excited they’re only 5 minutes away from me. They can definitely count me as a regular. *This is my second time trying their food. The first was through Door Dash and that also did not disappoint.
