I was pretty disappointed with my experience yesterday. We got the salad bar. The lettuce was starting to wilt, two of the selections of fruit were mushy and sour, the chips for the taco section were stale... The bathroom was grubby and I noticed all the window dividers between booths were absolutely gross. There is no way that this grime was from one day. Please clean the restaurant and check the food that is being served on buffet.
I hadn't been to a Big Boy in decades. The food still tastes great and is well made, though the prices are a bit high. $16 for a turkey sandwich is pretty pricey. It tasted great and was presented well, though, as was the fish sandwich. The fries were fantastic. (I didn't get pictures of the food, I was HUNGRY, lol) Our server was attentive and friendly. We were seated and served quickly. It was worth revisiting for the nostalgia.
We were treated like family when we walked through the door. Great diner atmosphere! Our server today was Tedra, she was friendly and attentive. Drinks were refilled as needed. Food was brought out fresh and hot. Portions were great, overall great dining experience!
