I mean come on. It’s called big cs chopped bbq. In what world would that not be delicious. Authentic southern bbq. Extremely nice people. Don’t forget to try the house kool aid or hi c. Something like that. It’s best ever.
I got there right when they opened was greeted by Big C himself. I wasn’t sure if i wanted chicken or not, so he gave me two big pieces to taste and it was delicious! I ordered the chicken dinner with yams and mac and cheese with an extra side of potato salad. Since they were still finishing opening he through in a free dessert. Service and food were both amazing. You can tell he really cared about his business and customer experiences. Thanks Big C!
First things first, there were no tables and it was take-out only. I didn't know that going in, but we made it work and ate on the hood of the car in the parking lot on a beautiful evening. The food was great. I got the ribs and chicken, mac and cheese, and yams. Everything was at least pretty good, but THIS CHICKEN is the star. Big chunks of bone in dark meat chicken, beautiful moist interior, browned and smoked on the outside, and smothered in a tangy but not too sweet sauce. The $5 chicken box is no joke the best $5 I've spent in years. And they had orange Faygo in the cooler.
