Wow, just wow. This restaurant has one of the best menudo I have ever had, very flavorful and some of the tripe pieces are thick and the pieces are perfect and they serve a good amount of corn and tripe with the menudo. Service was good! Definitely would come back!

Firstctime eating here. Was smaller tham what I expected. Waited about 20-25 min to get seated. Once seated the service was great and the food was good. Their quesadillas de maiz are really good. The Birra de Chivo was also good. Reminded me when my dad would take me to TJ to eat birria. Definitely recommend

in for birria and left mostly satisfied, which is really the baseline goal of any meal. We ordered the quesatacos, both beef and goat, because if you’re at a birreria you’re supposed to try the goat at least once in your life. The beef quesataco was the clear winner. Rich, savory, good cheesy pull, and the consommé did its job. No complaints there. That one hits. The goat, however, was… an experience. Not bad, just different. Stronger flavor, a little funky, and definitely an acquired taste. I’m glad I tried it. I’m also glad I don’t need to try it again. If you love goat, you’ll probably be happy. If you’re on the fence, start with beef. My wife ordered the carnitas and honestly might have ordered the best thing at the table. Crispy edges, tender inside, full of flavor, and exactly what you want carnitas to be. No notes. If you’re not dead set on birria, this is a very safe and very tasty choice. Service was solid, food came out hot, and portions were generous. This is not a flashy place, it’s a come-hungry-and-eat kind of spot, which works in its favor. Final verdict: 8 out of 10. Would return. I’d skip the goat next time, double down on beef birria, and absolutely consider the carnitas again.
