See All ReviewsBravo! This is the best Caribbean food I've had in a long time. First, I didnt even know this place was here. I was walking down the road and smelled the food from around the corner! The atmosphere was cool, music was on point and the food was amazing. I got the jerk ribs and chicken with rice and peas, plantains and Mac and cheese. Great value for the money. I'll certainly make the half hour drive again. Keep it up!
We stopped in and found that they didn’t have a few things on the menu which was fine, we had the jerk chicken and stew chicken platter. The jerk chicken to my surprise had a wet sauce that had a type of sweet chili undertone which I did not like. The stew chicken was pretty bland and the rice and peas had an overwhelming taste of whatever spice was used. The cabbage I liked the least, it had a lot of vinegar which I’m not used to in a good cabbage. The guy was nice but it wasn’t very pleasant for someone dining in. No tv or music and the person running it had their video playing in the back loud enough for us to hear clearly but we wasn’t watching it. For $52 we wont be returning
My wife and I just moved up from Baltimore and happened to run across this hidden gem were looking for food near me. We got a big thing of mac & cheese 20 pieces of fried chicken jerk, chicken platter and fried chicken platter. The price was amazing it literally hands-down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and the jerk chicken was seasoned perfectly. The red beans and rice were phenomenal and the mac & cheese is to die for I 1,000,000% recommend this Restaurant to everyone. Definitely found our new favorite spot.
