Blackjack Mulligan's is such a vibe. It's a great place to go to let your hair down and forget about the day. Very laid back, homey atmosphere. Staff is amazing, personable and fun. Definitely a go to of mine from now on.
Food is pretty low quality. Will not be my first option to eat at all. Great atmosphere for game nights and things of that nature but otherwise nothing special here.
Stopped for lunch at Blackjack Mulligans Irish Pub in Hawthorne, NJ. The husband/wife team and chef are owner operators. They were fun, personable and provided exceptional service. You can dine in the bar area or dinning room, both have TV's set up making this a great destination as a sports bar, group gatherings or family. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp appetizer, it was flavorful and balanced. The garlic butter lemon sauce was great for dipping the bread, fries and we took the remainder home to serve over pasta. The crispy chicken on the sandwich roll was hand breaded, had great taste and with the added crispy bacon was a great choice. The fries were very crispy and hot. I was going to order the cajun dusted fries(forgot), but the regular were very good. The cheese quesadilla with chicken was great with lots of meat, onions, peppers and gooey cheese, I would recommend the addition of guacamole/avocado in the future. The portions are large so we took home the leftovers to enjoy later. If you're in the neighborhood, this is a great place for lunch!
