See All ReviewsTwo years ago, I took my sister here for lunch on a weekday. There's street parking and I easily found a parking space on Davis Street. This is a large restaurant. We were seated at a duet or 2 seat table. Our waitress came with our menus. She returned promptly, taking our orders, returning a few minutes later with our teas. We had I ordered main meals so I wouldn't have to cook dinner later. Our foods came out. I had ordered the 2 grilled pork chops with green beans and mashed potatoes. My sister had the same. And there was a bread basket. My grilled chops were cooked to perfection. The chops were succulent. The mashed potatoes were creamy and tasty. The green beans had bits of bacon in a sweet- sour sauce. Our waitress came back and asked about our meals and if we needed tea refills ? I noticed the owner going to tables, greeting his customers. He later came to ours. Our bill was very reasonable considering we had dinners meals.
This place was great! It's located in the old part of town, but doesn't feel old at all. It's wide open with lots of room between tables. The food was INCREDIBLE. We got burgers, chicken fried steak, and cheese sticks... no complaints at all. Our server, Lucas, was very respectful and didn't let our drinks run out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Our first time to Luling Texas. We stop there to have lunch at Blake’s since they have good reviews. Their prices are very good and food was decent. Good service to boot as well.
