Pizza was okay. I had to order from the actual hotel restaurant because they were closed on the inside. You definitely don't have to have this if you visit Galveston.
The service was not good. The girl that waited on us seem like she didn’t want to be there. We ordered our pizza at 9:07 pm and did not receive it till 9.50 pm. There was a family there before us that was still waiting on their ice cream. I ordered and went to the front desk and came back and they still had not had their ice cream.. Finally, some other people came into the back and things seem to get a little better. They finally ask us what kind of pizza we were waiting on like maybe they had lost our order. Then finally after that, we got our pizza and and we went back to our room to eat. And it was actually pretty good. And as far as the hotel goes, it was not as great as I expected it to be after waiting all these years to stay there. For the money I paid I expected a little more. I have got better satisfaction out of lower end hotel chains. But that’s for another review somewhere else but overall the main reason we stayed was for the Christmas light experience and Iceland, which we enjoyed very much.
