I had the Brisket Mac and unfortunately don’t understand the hype. Other reviewers claim it was the best Mac n’ Cheese they’ve ever had, and that perplexes me. It’s overcooked and gummy and lacking “sauce.” The brisket is ok. At $16, it just isn’t worth it. Can’t speak to other offerings, but I can say service was great and friendly.
Had the drummie combo. The drumsticks were so well seasoned w/a delicious dry rub. The huge tub of mac n cheese, one of my top 2 ever. Nice slaw. Definately worth $15.
We shared the Brisket Mac and Brunswick Stew. Simply delicious! Brisket Mac was smokey and creamy — possibly the best we’ve ever had! The Brunswick Stew was a pleasantly spicy surprise. Warming chili heat with a mix of rich meaty flavors. We loved our dinner and can’t wait to catch another pop-up soon!
