I ran across this place a few years ago on trips having to travel to and from Corpus. I saw the Beef Jerky sign, stopped, and purchased some beef jerky. Each time since the first, I make it a point to stop. Yesterday, we were headed home from Corpus and I pulled in. The same sweet and kind people still run it. Normally, I see the jerky hanging in bags, but this time they were missing. We spoke about it and he has had to stop handling the jerky because of the beef prices. I understood and I hate that. I really wanted to get a brisket sandwich, but was ready to get home and didn't want to drive and try and eat brisket at the same time!!! Got a hotdog, and my Bride ordered a loaded chili cheese-dog. We parted ways and I told them I would see them the next trip through. Later down the road, my Bride said that was the best chili cheese dog she had ever had!!! If you are traveling through this community at any time, I urge you to stop and partake of something off their menu. Guarantee you will not regret it!!!
I had the brisket grilled cheese sandwich and it was excellent. I will return for more of their BBQ.
The food was so good and delicious. The brisket grilled cheese is really good. 1000% recommend
