Boardwalk Foodcourt/Funnel Cake: Once again, the name of this local spot is perplexing because there are usually a variety of casual style restaurants inside an actual food court. However, none of that matters as the funnel cake was excellent. The hot, doughy, crispy pastry was gigantic in size and loaded with powdered sugar. Make sure you have plenty of napkins handy.
I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the most vile, inedible pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. You walk in, and it’s clear the owners don’t care. The hygiene of the establishment is questionable at best with trash all over the spare counter they don’t use, and the back half of the restaurant is dark and sketchy because they don’t bother to change the bulbs. I ordered two slices of cheese, and the dough was undercooked, sauce was barely even there, and the cheese tasted straight up rancid. I’m not one to ever complain at restaurants, but when I brought this up they pretty much just laughed in my face. I threw their “food” right in the garbage with one bite taken out of it. AC has so many options for amazing food, don’t bother with this Chum Bucket recreation
