It was my first time at Bob's and I decided to stop in due to the great reviews I read online. Happy to note the reviews did not disappoint! I ordered a cheesesteak with sauteed onions and it was delicious! It was filled to the brim & seasoned PLUS the meat to cheese ratio was spot on! Make sure you get there early so you can try their homemade sweet tea.
I recently visited Bobs steaks and hoagies and was absolutely blown away by the experience! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness from the staff, which set the perfect tone for my meal. I ordered the classic cheesesteak with cooper and sautéed onions, and it did not disappoint! The meat was juicy and tender, with a perfect balance of flavors in every bite. The bread was fresh and had that delightful crunch on the outside while remaining soft inside. What I loved most is that Bobs steaks and hoagies showcases the rich culture and culinary traditions of the community. You can feel the passion as they prepare each dish. The atmosphere is vibrant, decorated with local art that highlights the talent in the neighborhood.Don’t skip the sides! The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy, and I also tried their house-made spicy sauce, which added a fantastic kick to my meal. I appreciate that this restaurant is not just focused on serving great food but also on uplifting the community, making it a must-visit spot. Great food and service from the owner himself! He suggested the Philly cheesesteak with fried onions, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Best Philly cheesesteak we’ve ever had!!! Fresh 100% grass-fed meat that is never frozen. You can tell by how tender it is. We accompanied it with cheese fries and they were smothered in cheese to perfection. The fries had a hint of ketchup, salt and pepper. Yum!!! Please open up a store in NYC!!! (No pictures… we ate it all).
