I ordered take away hot spicy crispy chicken leg sandwich. It took 30 mins to come out. And this is the lettuce, is it a normal lettuce? Also the chicken is not spicy.
They have undoubtedly the best spicy chicken sandwich anywhere in the USA. And I'm not exaggerating. I've been trying spicy chicken sandwiches all around the USA looking for anywhere that makes them as well as the ones I tried in Asia. Nowhere ever came close -- until now. They have a Perfect Spice blend in the breading 10/10, Shredded lettuce on a sesame seed bun with mayo 10/10, CHICKEN THIGH BREADED AND COOKED TO PERFECTION 10000/10. I wish I could send a 6th star. I will be coming back again. A lot.
Because this store is very close tp mu apartment, so I always order here for dinner or late night snacks. I did try almost all items from their menu and every experience is great! Their staff are nice and their drinks and snowing chicken are delicious! Will definitely recommended to all my friends!
Very disappointing food, Boba tea and service. Got their signature bomb bomb chicken which was just a big piece of very stringy chicken (signs of low quality/cheap meat) and cooked to an ungodly high temperature so you can't eat it for like 10-15 minutes. They are obviously set up as a ghost kitchen because they have poor customer service and like 3 tables. 5 minutes after ordering the lady asked me for my order number. 7 minutes later she asked if we got our food yet (why would she not know? We were the only ones in the restaurant). 5 minutes after that we got our chicken (17 min wait for a piece of fried chicken). The strawberry lemon bubble tea is ordered had other grass like jelly that I didn't order and lots of pulp from fruit making it unpleasant to drink. The "normal" amount of ice is like 80% of the cup. For almost $8 this was disappointing and quality is well below the many other local bubble tea places in Oakland.
Good was great. Came back the next day for the soup .. boba teas was delicious 🤤
This place specializes in fried chicken, and they close very late at night. Every time I've ordered, they've made it fresh to order. It's quite literally as fresh as fried chicken could ever be. It's hot, crispy, tender, juicy, and I detect no quality or freshness issues with the chicken itself. It's also not too salty, and clearly the skin and batter are salty enough for me. Those who want a fried chicken that's not too salty will be very happy with the fried chicken here. Personally, I think it'd be for the best if the meat of the chicken itself could be saltier. While I have ways around it such as making a dipping sauce or eating it with rice + salting the rice, I'd personally love it if the meat itself had more salt in it. But of course, you can't please everyone, and adding more salt might make people upset. I'll be happy either way, and my dad is very pleased with the overall flavor and saltiness level. Maybe I'm the weirdo of my family here. Other thoughts: - the tea part of the boba is brewed from whole leaf. They have their tea leaves on display in pre-portioned bags. That said, I haven't really tried their boba though, but this would make them the one and only place here that does super late night boba tea. - ordering mixed chicken results in them giving you only drumsticks and thighs. To me, this is a very very very good thing. It seems they save chicken breasts for at least the sandwiches. - at the time of writing this, the price is quite fair and is essentially the same price as KFC and Popeye's and potentially even cheaper - at the time of writing this, they switched their closing hours from 11:30 pm to 2:30 am. Yes, they're closing a fair bit later than they used to. I'm not sure if this is sustainable, but this definitely helps me out since I mainly crave fried chicken at such unholy hours. - it seems they added ribs to the menu in the time I haven't been looking. I haven't ordered it though, but it's an interesting choice. - it's an independent local fried chicken restaurant. It's a local business and one of the rare non chains that does fried chicken. - if you have problems with the wait time, order online or ideally order over the phone. They make everything fresh to order. I can't comment on stuff like the burgers, but I watched them do it for at least the fried chicken. Overall, I'm quite happy with this place, and I'd definitely say it's underrated.
A fast food loved by both adults and children, spicy chicken wings are definitely the first choice, milk tea is also a must, and my favorite is the hand-shaken yogurt series, you can try it boldly, yogurt lovers will definitely not let you down.
Pretty good fried chicken, with juicy meat under a robust, crunchy breading. I probably could have gone smaller than the four piece meal -- two thighs and two legs, but the thighs were quite big and I'm getting old. Including fruit tea with the combo was a nice change of pace from the typical pop. Wings were a decent size but over $2 per wing feels steep for how much meat is on them.
