See All ReviewsMy husband found this restaurant on a whim based on pictures of food that looked yummy and a review that mentioned what a hidden gem this restaurant was. So we went, and we are so glad we did. It was a little after they opened at 11am and we were the only ones there which added to the great experience since it was our first time there. We were greeted immediately and the server answered all of our questions and was patient as he told us more about the menu. We decided on the couple combo hot pot of 3 meats and one side. The meats included boneless short rib, prime ribeye, and brisket point. Then we got to choose one side of either fried rice, doenjag jjigae, and shin ramen. We chose the ramen. It was $99 for the combo and trust me when I say it was WORTH IT. They brought us sides to eat with our meat that we cooked ourselves. Sides like kimchi cucumbers, lettuce and fresh jalepenos, kimchi, tofu kimchi, spinach, and bean sprouts. The whole experience was AMAZING. My husband loved it (thankfully because it’s husband appreciation day lol). Our server was great and patiently explained the process to us on how to use the hot pot and the best way to eat our meal. Everything was so delicious and yummy I can’t wait to go back. To top off the experience, our sever brought us dessert which was their version of horchata and it was so yummy as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. Everything from the atmosphere, customer service, and more importantly, the food, was 10/10.
Everything is delicious and brought out to you very fast. I love their fried rice and the little side dishes they bring out add a lot to the meal as well. During happy hour in the evenings they have half off entrees and appetizers. The cost to portion ratio was excellent. I absolutely recommend that more people eat out here. I wholeheartedly believe that this restaurant is criminally under-rated.
I can’t recommend Bon Galbi enough! My wife and I have been to many Korean BBQ restaurants, but the quality of the meat here is on another level. It was noticeably the freshest we’ve ever had—so tender and flavorful. What really made the experience special was the owner. She is such a nice and welcoming lady, and she went above and beyond to help us with the menu and make sure we had a great meal. If you’re looking for top-tier food and genuine hospitality, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!
