a month agoFood was 10/10. I could tell it was definitely fresh. Complex flavors but everything is executed perfectly. No wait for a table on a friday night. I forgot to take pictures of the food before I could eat it all! Unfortunately a lot of things were sold out by 9pm but everything i tried made up for it. highlight dish is definitely the pork belly! had two orders. Amazing, would come again.

a month agoThis restaurant is truly exceptional! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious every single time. The staff and owner always go above and beyond with their kindness and welcoming atmosphere, making every visit feel special. I’ve become a regular because the experience is always outstanding, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and genuine hospitality!

a month agoWe went here and the food was amazing! Our server was Jackie and she was great! The owners were so kind and checked on us throughout our dinner. From the moment we walked in everyone was polite and greeted us with a smile. My son ordered the lamb chops and cleared his plate. So that means they were delicious. I ordered the shrimp wontons, Cantonese pepper shrimp, and wings with crack sauce - which is a tamarind sauce, and everything was good. The shrimp wontons were fresh and cooked perfectly. The crack sauce was amazing as well. I also ordered the half bottle of Brut and it was very crisp and refreshing. My friend ordered buffalo wings and said they were the best she’s ever had. She also ordered the chicken tacos (not pictured) and said they were good as well. Highly recommend!

a month agoThe food was incredible. We got both shrimp appetizers and the wings with the crack sauce. I got the seafood gumbo and my husband got the crab roll sandwich. We got one of each of the children's menu options. The atmosphere was nice and family friendly. The host and wait staff were very friendly. The service was a little slow but it seemed like they had a dinner rush and many tables were seated all at once. I think this is something that will work itself out in a new restaurant. We can't wait to go back!

2 months agoToday was our first experience with Bon Temps. My wife and I were out to try something new and were tremendously impressed with this Trinidadi gem. Thier drink selection was unique, appetizers phenomenal, and thier gumbo had genuine heart and soul. We particularly enjoyed the Crispy Pork Belly and Duck Anndouli Gumbo. The rich complex savory flavors blended deliciously with the textures of each dish to provide a complete and profound experience which my wife and I fully intend to enjoy again. If you're looking for a unique and delightful experience with an excellent vibe I recommend Bon Temps for your next date night outing. ** Warning: Every bite has a little heat to it. Enjoy with a cool beer or light drink. I had the Hatchino Red Rice Ale. I recommend it for the floral notes, slightly malty texture, and mild flavor. Perfect pair with the gumbo and cilatro shrimp wontons which carry enough flavor to fill the whole meal.

4 months agoThe staff is extremely nice here but I was disappointed in the food. I got the seafood gumbo and it was seasoned well but my food was lukewarm when it was served. There was a lot of oil visible in the bowl and I just didn't think the portion size fit the price. I left hungry because I primarily ate only the shrimp and a little rice. My friend got the lamb chops but they were flavored with too much liquid smoke. We both loved the soursop daiquiri and that was the highlight of our meal.

4 months agoEverything was SO GOOD! The drinks were great (I’m a sucker for a lychee martini), the pimento cheese beignets (not pictured because we inhaled them) were a unique treat, and the main courses (duck & andouille gumbo, seafood gumbo, fried chicken tacos) were delicious, and generously portioned. Also really appreciated that the music wasn’t so loud we had to shout to talk. Impeccable vibes, will definitely be making a return visit.
