See All ReviewsI went there yesterday evening to eat the fish, all you can eat. I had eaten there a couple times before and it was very good. But last night the white fish I ordered was the worst I have eaten . The fish was like it had been made a long time and warmed over. The pieces of wish were so very thin and it was hard on the outside. But I will not go back as the quantity or quality cant compare at the other fish places and I can get an equal or better price elsewhere. Richard s Ramsey
We just happened to be in the area and found this place. We had breakfast. It was awesome! Our waitress was a little sweetheart. Definitely going back even though it's way out of our usual path. Go! You will be happy!
I’ve had Bond-o on my list for quite some time after hearing great things about their burgers. It’s definitely out of the way from Johnson City (about a 45-minute round trip), so after some convincing, I finally got my wife to make the drive with me. Naturally, if I’m willing to go that far, my expectations are pretty high. The interior is unique — it feels like an old garage or warehouse space, which gives it a distinct character. There was only one server working, and from what we could tell, she was handling everything. She was very nice and clearly working hard. We both ordered burgers; my wife got okra as her side, and mine came with fries. The food took a little longer than expected, but given the small-town setting and limited staff, I wasn’t expecting a quick in-and-out experience. Unfortunately, the burgers themselves were underwhelming. Neither of us was wowed, and there wasn’t much flavor in the patties. The fries and okra were also lacking seasoning and overall taste. For a place known for burgers — and given the drive — it just didn’t meet expectations. When we went to check out, I stood at the register for about five minutes before anyone came to ring us up, and by that point, several other tables had finished and lined up behind me. Again, it appeared to be the same single server doing everything, so the delay made sense — but it still added to the overall experience. I can now say I’ve tried Bond-o, and while it wasn’t the worst burger I’ve ever had, it was nowhere close to the level I was hoping for. Given the distance and the experience, I don’t see us making the drive again.
