It’s so surprising to leave this review because we used to love bonhomia and agreed with all the good reviews but these past two times the service has been so horrible . The waitress just came to the table to fill the small 5 oz water glass once and never checked on us if we needed salt or anything else or something to drink . She was very rude and never explained herself . We had to send the French toast we always have gotten before because the batter was not cooked and she told us it’s just because it’s moist but you could see the batter obviously not cooked and she just grabbed the plate and walked away and didn’t come back for a long time never said if we were going to get another one or ask if we wanted anything else and she started serving another table we had to just pay and leave. When checking us out she didn’t say one word she put the bill down we put down the money and said thank you and she just walked away . Sweet temptations is really good and has great service if your looking for a trustworthy place in McAllen area!
Superb! Three of us arrived for lunch and we all loved our meals and this quaint restaurant. The pistachio latte with a shot of lavender was so unique. The mimosa was tasty. The food and service, excellent. Plenty of parking and a clean bathroom.
