See All ReviewsThis is such a unique place. The people were wonderful. Food great selection. The fact that the have a store inside that you can shop is outstanding. They even offer fish food so you can feed the fish. ( you do have to buy it). But it's so fun. They have so many Koi fish. They have so many great choices for jade jewelry, bonsai, money plants and much much more. And the lady is more than will to talk you through it all. Great atmosphere. Worth the trip from Baytown. Price was great too. We will be back. Even if it's just to buy from the store. Lol.
I've never been but find it disgraceful after looking at their koi pond. Look at the pictures and understand that these fish are literally suffocating to death coming up to surface for air because the pond is severely over crowded. There's hundreds of fish in a pond that should be twenty max. This needs to be reported.
The buffet part is actually called China Bear, but this place pops up And tricked me into going with its 4.2 stars. If you look up China Bear the reviews are deplorable. People find roaches in the food and flies in the soup. For the actual buffet, The food was cold and disgusting. The variety was severely lacking. The potato salad tasted like cardboard. The tilapia was rubbery and tasted like it had been there for hours. The cheese wantons were awkwardly warm like they had been under the warmers also for hours. I hope I don't get sick from eating this food. Waste of money. The waiters were good and attentive. The art is pretty.
