This place in fantastic. When I lived around the corner I would visit every week. Now I live across town 20 miles away but I still occasionally make the trip to get some fresh bagels. As always, they hit the spot! Give them a try, you won’t regret it! Best place in all of DFW!
We've been Boopa regulars for over a decade. Ever since Holly, the oroginal owner sold the business, its gone down hill. The bagels dont have that great flavor and even an everything bagel is bland. The last three times we've gone, they've been completely out of bagels minus a couple of sweet flavors. Today we had to go to Einstein's for our bagels. Weekends at 10am, the store was packed with people and the dining room and patio filled with people. Not anymore, and for good reason. It was completely empty today. Haven't even seen the weekend regulars in a while. Its just not the same nor as good as it used to be.
A really awesome breakfast, brunch, or lunch spot! I had a toasted everything bagel sandwich with egg, cheddar, turkey, and bacon with a roasted jalapeño cream cheese spread. The bagel was delicious, signature chew on the exterior and soft in the center. Plenty of the “everything” seasonings. The turkey was really nice, not just your average prepackaged, composite deli turkey. This had more of a roasted and sliced taste and feel to it, and they were generous with portions. The bacon was nice and crispy. The cream cheese paired fantastically, not overly spicy. Definitely coming back again!
