See All ReviewsUpon arrival, the bartender asked us if we wanted menus, we said yes, and told to sit anywhere. Bartender said that she was the only one working and asked for patience. Well, there were only about 8 people in the whole bar and no one at the tables (not busy at all), so we waited. After about 35 minutes, she came out and asked if we were doing okay. What? With no drinks and no food? Seriously? My wife was livid, but politely said yes, so the bartender walked away, which made my wife even angrier. We opted to leave without a word. First impressions last and we will never give this place a chance to make it right. Instead, we went a few blocks down to Barefoot Bill's. Had great, friendly service, awesome food and at a very reasonable price. Steer clear of Bourbon Street if you are hungry. If you want to drink (which we don't), the bartender will certainly pay attention to you then.
Met Ben outside and his friendly manner led us to return for drinks and apps. Well, the drinks were great - the food - GREAT! VOODOO Fries with roast beef and brown gravy...The beef was superb, the gravy was great...the fries - SUPER HOT! The wings were delicious as well. We will return!
Wow these folks did us a solid! Came here during one of the busiest nights of the season and we were warmly greeted and served some tasty bar food and drinks. The servers were friendly and nice. The lobster po boy looked great. Maybe next time!
