Just awesome! Nice friendly service. Great food and in the perfect place to stop on my trip. I will definitely go again and try some of their other stuff.
We were driving in from out of state toward Houston when we decided to stop for breakfast after a long stretch on the road. We didn’t expect much except a quick bite. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with one of the friendliest and most welcoming atmospheres we’ve ever experienced. The Break of Day Breakfast Shop not only serves amazing food, but their hospitality truly makes the visit memorable. If you ever find yourself on Highway 59 in this area, do yourself a favor and stop by. It’s the very definition of home-style cooking with genuine Texas Southern hospitality.
Great breakfast. Stopped by after camping at Wright Patman Lake. Biscuits & gravy and bacon were good, eggs cooked exactly as ordered. Hash browns were spectacular.
