The food was delicious and the woman who helped us was really nice. We ordered griot, legume, and fried turkey. Everything had a lot of flavor and she gave good portions for the price. We will be back here for sure.
Do not waste your time I’m a visitor in the area. I googled the place. It says that closes at 11 online. I go there at 10 PM when I arrived they closed and if you look at the door, it says they’re supposed to close at 11 which of my time my energy in my gas

I am beyond impressed! This is hands down the best Haitian food I’ve had in Broward. I’ve been searching for a spot like this for the longest, and I’m so glad I found Taste of Tropics. Everything was delicious 😋 the macaroni salad, the rice, the crispy fried plantains, the fried tassot (goat meat perfectly seasoned) and the pikliz (not too spicy). The flavors were on point, and I honestly fell in love with every bite. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Haitian food, this is the place. Highly recommend you won’t regret it! ❤️🥰 🔥 Liz 😊

A true hidden gem! The food here is bursting with authentic Haitian flavor. From the tender oxtail to the crispy griot and flavorful rice and beans—everything was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, generous portions, and great vibes. I’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely delicious! This Haitian restaurant serves authentic flavors that take you straight to the islands. The griot was perfectly seasoned, the pikliz had the perfect kick, and the service was warm and welcoming. If you’re craving real Haitian food, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
