I am so disappointed. Actually my first time being disappointed with yall food. I usually get potatoes with my hamburger steak and steam broccoli sadly they didn’t have mash potatoes, so I got rice and gravy….. the rice was horrible undercooked and just hard. I stay way in the country off 25 so I wouldn’t have made it back to return the rice and gravy but I will be returning it tomorrow. But the hamburger steak annddddd broccoli was very good 😊

My boyfriend and I were super excited To eat here. The manager of the place we are staying at during our travels recommended it and it had good reviews. It ended up being ok. We got the seafood platter and gator tail. Food was alright. Maybe it’s because to really be fresh you need to be right on the coast and during our travels the best seafood we’ve had has been on the ocean or gulf. Some of the gator was chewy, shrimp was lukewarm, and because everything was fried kinda needed something fresh in the mix. Or baked. We had never been there and the menu didn’t have tons of stuff listed on it. I saw a review here about gator tail and had to ask because it wasn’t on the menu. Also, when you pull in it looks like you are pulling into the gas station. I did notice the sign that said Browns back here. That was helpful. In all it was just ok. Maybe the places we’ve been to on the beaches spoiled anything else for us though!

This is a perfect casual fresh seafood joint!! I had the baby scallops and they were cooked PERFECTLY (I was kind of expecting them to be overcooked because it's sooo easy to do). The shrimp platter and catfish fillets were delicious as well! To emphasize, this is a casual place, the ac doesn't work great, it's warm inside, and the tables and floors are like getting together on your neighbors back porch. They are friendly like good neighbors as well!! We will definitely be back!
