Excellent hand pressed Bubba Burger! Took it all the way with season fries. Great portions. Choc cake, also excellent. Server, Athena was 5 star, her service and disposition changed me from 4 star to 5!
I love this place! It's nice, clean and cozy. The waiters are not overworked which means you will get good service. The fries were thick, and fresh, the Mac and cheese side was wonderful and the fried cod was great with blue Moon and fresh tartar sauce. Give this place a shot! There's usually not too many patrons at lunch time, you'll enjoy a quiet time with relaxing music. My husband got a cod PO boy... I think I will try that next time because I missed the fresh french bread in my entree. The only downside is you have to make sure you don't miss it. It's on the frontage road of 27 in front of the Wawa that's close to Goodwill.
First time there, extremely warm inside. Thermostat inside the restaurant read 82 degrees. Fried green tomatoes were great, Catfish was good, collard greens were delicious. Thought it was pricey, it was just my husband and I and the bill was over $50.00. I had catfish fillets he had the 2 fish combo and fried green tomatoes for appetizer and two sweet teas. Not so sure we will return but just had to try it at least once.
