4 months agoI heard about this place on Instagram, and I started looking at the pictures of the boba drinks they were posting, and they looked delicious. But when I went to buy one, I didn't like it, and I'll tell you about my experience there. 1. I arrived with my wife, and as a new customer, I would at least expect a "welcome" or "good afternoon," but no, the only thing the employee said to me (brusquely) was, "The menu is over there." Tell me, would you go back if someone spoke to you like that? 2. We ordered a Classic and a Taro milk tea. Both were half ice, and the boba were hard and bad cooked; they were clumped together in a ball. They were nothing like what they posted online. 3. The place didn't feel very clean. In fact, I could see some machines that had residue from a long time ago. Anyway, it was the first and last time I'll go there. And if any of the owners of this place read this, my recommendation is that you hire people who genuinely enjoy working there and can prepare things properly.

4 months agoThis was the fourth time my crepe was not cooked properly, and I’m officially done. I ordered a crepe with strawberry and Nutella and it came out undercooked again, with barely any fruit inside. On top of that, I waited well past the estimated 25 minutes. To make it worse, they were out of one of the ingredients and didn’t bother asking me if I wanted a substitute or replacement yet I was still charged full price. I used to come here often, but the quality has gone downhill. The crepes are paper-thin, inconsistent, and absolutely not worth the price anymore. Extremely disappointing experience all around.

6 months agoBubz Boba has the best bubble tea hands down. My favorite drink is the passionfruit jasmine tea, with lychee or strawberry jelly. The staff are always kind, courteous, and accommodating. I do like the crepes, and I'm so happy they're gluten-free, so my mother can enjoy them as well!

8 months agoDelicious and fresh chocolate banana protein smoothie. Fresh and no added sugars which is exactly what I was looking for. Insanely tempting boba drinks and lots of delicious looking Filipino desserts too!!

a year agoGreat little boba shop in Dunellen. Super friendly service and good vibes all around. I will have to bring my daughter next time because she is the boba expert. The Uber banana pudding was very smooth and enjoyable.

3 years agoI had taro milk boba with tapioca, it was really good! My personal favorite has got to be the dalgona boba because it’s perfect blend of milk sugar with coffee. Staff is super friendly! I checked in at 4 pm and checked out at 8:45pm after a study session at this location. Let’s just say it was a very productive study session: beautiful city like views, not so crowded, nice aesthetic overall. 10/10

Edited 4 years agoI love this place! Their drinks are amazing and the sticky waffles are so warm and just the right amount of sweet. Everytime I go, the drinks get better and better; any fine tuning they've been doing is paying off. The coconut smoothie with boba is my current drink of choice but I'm working my way through the menu so that I can try it all. All of the staff that I've met are welcoming, attentive, and amiable. You can tell that the owner cares about this place so much by how well kept everything is and the overall air of contentment from both the staff and patrons. This is definitely my new pick-me-up spot and my husband knows it. Whenever he gets a protein shake after the gym he knows I'm gonna ask for some boba too. It's definitely a must-buy if you're nearby.
