See All ReviewsThe atmosphere is better than 5 stars! This place has the feel of an old time diner with a lot of fun stuff to look at while here. The food is equally as good. We had the homemade potato soup (AMAZING) and the hot club with a side of fries. Everything was hit and delicious. I consider this a great find and would definitely come again.
Nice old little diner, right in the middle of a old little town. My burger and fries were excellent. If you're driving through Buchanan I highly recommend.
Stopped here for a little lunch as we were passing through to Natural Bridge. Total 5 ⭐️ 10/10 experience. We got our food to go bc we had our dogs with us and it’s super hot out today but we took turns checking out the place while we waited. So much history in this adorable restaurant. Loads of seating available, booths, tables, and old style counter seating on those round stool that spin, the ones we all loved to sit on as kids. Loads of free parking close by. The food was amazing. Absolutely delicious! I got a the James River burger which is basically a burger with bacon and I had them hold the cheese. It was cooked perfectly and my husband got a Philly Steak burger, also delish!! Looks like they also have ice cream and milk shakes but honestly we were both totally full after our meal. It was plenty of food to fill us up, for sure. And the lady who helped us was so nice and friendly. She even offered to serve us if we wanted to sit outside at the tables which we would have done if it hadn’t been 88 degrees out. Too hot for dogs to sit in the sun. Oh, I almost forgot. It also has some cool stuff inside like an old time juke box and coke and Dr. pepper coolers. Will definitely eat here again next time we pass through. Check this place out. You won’t regret it.
