See All ReviewsThis is a hidden gem. The food is authentic from Oaxaca, one of the best regional cuisines in Mexico. Manny of the key ingredients, such as the corn for the delicious tortillas, cactus leaves (nopales) etc. come from Oaxaca. The mole is made in Oaxaca by the owners’ grandmother. This is far better than you averaged Americanized Mexican chain restaurants. If you’re visiting Lambertville or New Hope and want to taste authentic Mexican food, you must stop by for lunch, dinner or breakfast. And as plus, it’s BYOB.
This place is outstanding. They import their main ingredients directly from Mexico, delivering authentic flavors of exceptional quality and depth. The Oaxacan mole is extraordinary—better than any mole I’ve had, even in Mexico City. Highly recommended.
I liked this place a lot. Was trying to go to a different Mexican restaurant but it was closed. I ordered the quesabirria which came out piping hot and was absolutely packed with meat. Things that were fried were perfectly crisp. The salsas were both amazing and the red one was quite hot. A bit pricey but the food was really great. If you're looking to get a lot for your money, you may want to skip this place as the portion sizes are reasonable for one meal without taking any home but the quality is there.
