2 months agoWe came here for the first time on a Saturday morning for breakfast and it was so good! We got the chilaquiles rojos with steak and huevos rancheros and both were so good. El café de olla was some of the best coffee I have had. You won’t regret going here! So delicious and we will definitely be back soon!

3 months agoWe ordered the stuffed chilaquiles, birria ramen with tacos, and agua fresca de piña, and everything was so good. I highly recommend this place. It’s super low-key, but the food is amazing and the service was excellent. The café de olla was delicious too. Definitely coming back.

3 months agoCame in for breakfast. Had the chorizo skillet which was excellent. Flavorful, eggs cooked perfectly, included pancakes. My friend had the Birria ramen combo and loved it. Service was prompt and friendly.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the most welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. The decor is bright and cheerful, with beautiful colors that make you feel happy just being there. We were seated immediately by a host who was genuinely friendly, and that set the tone for the entire meal. But let's talk about the food—because it was perfection. I ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes with a fried egg, and it was life-changing. The tortilla chips weren't soggy or too hard; they had that perfect al dente texture, soaking up just enough of the bright, tangy salsa verde. The salsa itself was clearly homemade, with a fresh cilantro flavor and a perfect, subtle kick of heat. The egg on top was cooked flawlessly, with a runny yolk that coated everything beautifully. It came with a side of creamy refried beans that you could tell were slow-cooked and authentic. My partner got the Huevos Rancheros, and they were just as incredible. The eggs were served on top of thick, house-made corn tortillas—you can taste the difference!—and smothered in a rich, smoky ranchero sauce that was complex and delicious. We also split a side of the Pan Dulce, which was warm, fluffy, and the perfect sweet complement to our savory dishes. And don't skip the Café de Olla! It was perfectly spiced with cinnamon and piloncillo, and it was the coziest, most comforting cup of coffee I've had in ages. What truly made this a 5-star experience was the service. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made fantastic recommendations, and our coffee cups were never empty. You can tell the entire staff takes pride in what they do. This isn't just a meal; it's an experience. The attention to detail, the high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the warm, inviting service make this the best breakfast spot in the city. We are already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

a year agoThree of us went to check Flakos Tacos out. A nice drive to the Griffith Airport and their flags pointed our way. Our server was wonderful explaining the menu, and the chef did a great job getting our orders perfect since two of us wanted each of our tacos different. Each one was perfect and delicious. The cheesy tacos looked good and the mild sauce had a kick, so I'm told. So, if you are out that way, give it go.

2 years agoOur server was very nice. The Barria tacos are really good. The food is well seasoned and filling. The atmosphere is clean and roomy, but it's not your typical restaurant seating it has an old schooI vibe. I didn't see any alcohol on the menu. Pricing is reasonable, and you get a large portion. The loaded fries were good for the appetizer. I was pleased!
