THE FOOD IS SO GOOD! Went twice and can't wait to go back again! And the woman owner (the other owner is the chef, I believe) is absolutely adorably sweet and funny. Would definitely recommend. Don't be confused by the different titles. Google Maps shows it as Bulgogi Box, the building shows it as The Korea Sy House, and their menus say Namsan Korean Restaurant. No matter which you chose to identify it, it's all the same place. GO NOW!
Eat here, and eat here often. Bulgogi Box is a Kalamazoo gem in the international cuisine scene. Host/ nephew of the restaurant owner was super kind and on-spot with his personal recommendations. Try the Tteokobokki to start - spicy but not super spicy. The Beef Bulgogi was caramelized goodness on a sizzle plate. And be sure to get some noodles too - recommend the udon like one with beef. And don't shy away from the tea they offer - a barely tea, that is super refreshing "the water of Korea". My apologies on not taking photos of the food - we ate it too quickly, it was that good.
This place had amazing Korea cuisine. I was skeptical and was suprised by the quality of the food there! Will return again soon!
