We got the sampler platter with a couple sides. The pulled pork, chicken, and brisket were fine but not remarkable. The pork ribs were amazing. Perfect combination of char, fat, and flavor. The sauce was great too. I loved the smoked skirt steak served as tacos. The cowboy beans were fantastic. Brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. Nice mix of salty, sweet, spicy, and smoky. I think they put a little of that Asian sweet chili sauce in there. Creative and delicious.
Overall, good place. Service was good. Food was outstanding atmosphere was typical for a bar/restaurant definitely will be going again
Bull And Barrel has that relaxed sports bar energy that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The burgers are juicy and satisfying, and the wings come out crispy with plenty of flavor. There’s a good selection of drinks to pair with the food, and the vibe feels casual and welcoming. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where you can catch a game, hang out with friends, and not overthink the menu — just solid bar food and good energy.
