We came for brunch looking to eat only BBH. That's all they do and Bún Riêu ốc. Both dishes were delicious and authentic. The BBH had all that it's suppose to have with pork hock, beef brisket, blood cakes, VNese pork ball, tendon, perfect amount of lemon grass (not overwhelming or underwhelming). The Bún Riêu ốc was also very tasty. The Riêu was light. The broth was light and flavorful. We were quite impressed since we just came back from Vietnam a few months back. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic, central Vietnamese food with Bún Bo Hue or Bún Riêu ốc.
It’s not easy to find a great bun rieu spot in Houston with so many pho places around, but this place really stands out. There’s plenty of parking, a spacious dining area with classical Vietnamese music playing, and everything was clean and well maintained. I ordered the bun rieu, it was excellent- packed with toppings and full of flavors. I’ll definitely be back to try their bun bo next.
The bun rieu was decent, but the bun bo needs more flavor.
