We found this gem by accident. So happy we found it. Owner came out and was talking to the Customers. You have to go to this place. We were greeted immediately, our orders taken before we even got to a table. The staff is super polite and very attentive and provided some of the best service I have ever received. The food was incredible, large portions and prices super affordable. We had 3 Breakfast for $30!! You can't do that anywhere else that affordable for the portions. Look at the pictures.
I came in for some biscuits, and thought I missed 'em 'cause it was lunch, but my server let me know I could still get some. Thank you. Took the gravy off one for a "3-quarter" to taste just the biscuit... definitely worth the stop! The gravy just makes them better, but it is totally unnecessary for the bite. Next time, I wanna try the pancakes and a coffee.
A charming little place in The town of Brazoria. The food here is of superior quality. Breakfast is the speciality. I had a large breakfast on Saturday morning. Three eggs, grits, bacon, biscuits, and some of the best coffee I've had in quite a while. The whole staff is friendly, helpful, and very efficient. My coffee cup was never empty. Only problem was that I had to park across the street , the place was packed, but there were tables open. Service was quick and the food left nothing to be desired. Looking forward to going back. So don't let the name fool you, the biscuits were light and fluffy, not burnt at all. They earned the five star ratting!
WOW. Amazing food. I came here with a friend who lives nearby. I had the burger on a jalapeno sourdough and my fries came with ranch and jalapenos on them. Incredibly tasty, and the best part was the young man who was our serve was incredibly polite and had immaculate manners. I will be back!
Stopped here on a road trip. Had the best chicken fried stea and yummy cole slaw. Gravy was delicious. Get there early so you can get dessert before it’s gone! Definitely a local gem.
Was driving by on a road trip.. saw a lot of cars.. checked reviews and decided to stop. I had been craving a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. We both ordered the same and a side of country potatoes to share.. there were barely enough potatoes to share for 3 bucks. Very stingy amount for 3 bucks worth of potatoes. I was shocked. The biscuit fell apart and it was more like a omelet on a biscuit instead of individual items as I wanted.. But everyone seemed to be enjoying..I guess we just ordered the wrong thing and went at the wrong time. The bathroom is so very small. I do not see anyway at all anyone that was handicap could use it. If I ever did return. It would not be on Sunday morning. And I would not order the same order.
Better then most around here for breakfast however the chicken fried steak was tiny. The potatoes are like a bowl of chopped up French fries, nothing like breakfast potatoes and not seasoning. They were strange and the waffle needed to be a bit more crisp, it was soggy. The sausage patties were over cooked, dry and crisp though. Even know cooking preparation was off it still had better flavor then the other choices around the area for breakfast. They came closest to a real cream gravy then anywhere else we have tried around here, they did have a strange taste not usually in cream/sausage gravy an odd herb maybe extra time or bit of rosemary that stood out and was different then traditional. They did actually use some seasonings so that's good. The service was great. There were a couple employees, maybe management or owners standing outside the kitchen, right in the dinning area grumbling and look irritated/mad about something. Thankfully they were not loud about it. It need kind of effect the mood of the place though. Not sure the price was worth it to return though.
Wanted to check out a greasy spoon and the reviews made it look good. Stopped in with friends and we all had a nice time. Service was good, people are very friendly and prices of food is very affordable. We came at a good time, which was 9am on a Saturday so it wasn’t crazy busy but by the time we left it started to get crowded. Everything was good, I’d come back if I was in town again. Only thing we didn’t care for was the grits, they tasted instant.
