Great food, and the staff was friendly and guided my little girl into ordering what she wanted. Would recommend the quesabarra and the barbacoa tacos.
Disappointed. I ordered bean, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos and was given a buzzer for the wait time. There was only one other person in front of me so I got excited that they must be making the food fresh to order. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer went off and I ran to my car to scarf it down. Food was absolutely bland; I would be shocked to find out they used any salt. The food was not hot enough to melt the cheese and the refried beans were still pretty stiff. The only flavor detectable is the salsa on the side - which was mostly vinegar and spice. I give them 1 star because the workers were very nice. Their meat dishes might be a different story, but the lack of flavor from this experience won’t have me coming back to give it another chance. Way too many other taco places in Austin to waste my time here again.
Try the quesabirria taco. You will thank me. Also had the pastor taco. Both well seasoned and beautiful, but the quesabirria is one of the best tacos I’ve ever tasted. Very friendly & helpful service. I’ll be back with all my friends!
