See All ReviewsTruly awful food. Tasteless soup. Bad wine. Sandwiches of such low quality meat and fish. Service was slow. Nice building.
We went to Cab Frye last night for the first time and had a great experience. Debbie, our waitress, was very welcoming and was attentive from when we sat down until the end. We had cocktails, shrimp cocktail, and soups, all of which were very good. My friends had the crab cakes and I had salmon. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back again!
Went for dinner. We had the French onion soup, pork tenderloin, and ribeye steak. The pork was well seasoned, but was a little dry (sauce helped). Steak was cooked properly- but normally ribeye comes bone-in. We think many people don’t realize the restaurant is open. It would probably help to clean up old social media pages and consolidate to one, and post more updates there. The outside area looked very promising for when the weather gets warmer. The staff were nice and asked for feedback. It was a little dark in there but once you are done looking at the menu it was fine- might be good to get some little table lights. Lastly, they advertised craft beer but really only had one ‘local’ beer available. Would recommend expanding the offerings - there are a ton of local breweries that could help give diversity to the beer offering. Since we are local - we would go back again- maybe once the outside is open.
