See All ReviewsThis might look like a tiny takeout counter but do not be fooled - u will get the best meal ever. Came here with 3 friends from out of town in search of empanadas venezolanas - literally la comida más rica que comimos en todo de nuestro tiempo en Miami. The fresh jugo de maracuya was outstanding. The empanadas are huge, piping hot freshly fried, and the chicken seasoning in particular was divine. The ladies working there were so kind and patient with my poor Spanish skills. Prices were super reasonable too (they have a cash discount so bring cash if u can!). This is the type of joint where you don’t want to blow up the spot but have to give alllll the stars bc they deserve it. ¡Mil gracias y suerte!
It's very annoying to walk some distance to a place that is listed as open just to discover that it's closed. It's not too hard to keep business hours updated. Here, closed at 7:51 in the morning.
I found this place by pure chance as I got off the bus at the wrong stop. I went in for directions but chose to stay for a coffee and one of their Empanadas as they looked delicious. I was not disappointed. A mother and her son have just recently taken over the business and they seem to be doing a thoroughly good job so far. It's only a short walk from the busy part of Little Havana which makes it a great place to start if you're in the area. Definitely more local than touristy. I look forward to returning there when I'm back in Miami 😬 If you are on the trolley bus there is a stop outside the cafe.
