The best. So lucky to have this right across from JBS. Best bacon, flat and crunchy be sure to get more than 2. Best chorizo potatos. Super spot. Will remember this place for next time. Great service. Price was just right. Service was great. Highly recommended. Get out your truck driver and walk across to this gem, you won't regret it.
I’m a truck driver picking up a load at JBS across the street from the cactus Café. After 15 hours of being parked and waiting for my load. Morning came. I felt like breakfast would do me some Good, I went across the street to Cactus Cafe . Im glad I did the food was really good. The coffee was hot and the young lady take my Oder was nice. I felt right at home. I didn’t take any pictures but I tell you that I ate everything that was on the plate.
The servers seemed annoyed I came in. I ordered enchiladas to go. When I got home (5 minutes down the road) my enchiladas were lukewarm and sitting in a puddle of grease. I tried to eat them but they were inedible. The rice tasted like dollar store rice.
Had their special for the day, Birria Tacos, brought to me today. Do yourself a favor and order them every time they are offered. They may just be the best Birria Tacos I've ever eaten. Fine job on the food and a wonderful family runs this business, so give them a try!
I had no idea what I was in for this morning but the sweet girl up front made some suggestions and I do NOT regret taking her advice, it was AMAZING!!! Hands down the best Mexican plate I’ve ever had for breakfast. Thank you! The plate was Chilaquiles Montados!!! Highly recommend with red and green sauce!
I had to spend 2 days waiting on my load and this place really saved my sanity! Great little mexican joint! Great food and coffe!!
Got to Cactus 🌵 to deliver a load to JBS on a Mon night. Was hungry so I checked the area to see what was open. Saw Cactus Cafe and the high ratings on Google. The pictures of the food looked delicious 😋. But they were closed. So I patiently waited dreaming of 6am when they would open. Finally the time came. Let me say it was worth the wait. Amara the owner's daughter greeted me as I entered. Conversation was the most pleasant I've had in weeks on the road. Restaurant is very cozy. Coffee is fresh and hot. And the food...the food is amazing!!! I ordered off menu just by asking for it and it was prepared just right. I'm so glad I decided to stop in to this awesome place. I hope I get to come back one day.
Nice little family owned restaurant, stopped on the way back to Texas. Workers were nice, food did take long to be ready but overall was good and not over priced.
