Got a table right away, service was spot on, very friendly and helpful server with current specials. Food was hot, fresh and exactly what we ordered. Very reasonable prices. Get yourself an Asiago bagel, it was so delicious!
Cute little breakfast spot in downtown Manistee, the staff was so sweet and helpful! Have us other ideas to check out in the area. The bagel sandwiches were great and we saved half for our travel lunch. The fries are definitely worth a taste! Will be back to this cozy small town feel breakfast joint
This is my second time here. I had a really good chicken salad sandwich and parmesan fries. Service is great as well and we enjoyed eating in the old vault (so cool)! The only thing missing is wifi but, it's a great location and I highly recommend it!
This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. MJ was our waitress, she's always so sweet and attentive! Love going here. Gotta try the Eggs Benedict. ♥️
Nice warm and friendly staff. The food hit the spot! Small intimate dining spaces which is cool because I was with my family. My Belgium waffle was topped with strawberries and I didn't need syrup. The sweetness of the fruit did the trick. He loved his corned beef hash omelet. She enjoyed her eggs, hashbrowns and toast. We wiped our plates clean!
Wow, what a nice little gem in Manistee.. Nice decor, trendy, updated look. Great gals/ waitresses, very attentive. Food was amazing..I had the Irish Omelette..delish!!. Husband ordered pancakes.. wow..what whoppers...and they were very good as well..fluffy and done well. Also have lunch menu. Bathroom was well lit, and spacious. I would very much recommend this restaurant
Came to Michigan from Cleveland for vacation, stopped by this dinner for breakfast as it was right by our Airbnb. We came as a group of 7, 3 children (ages 5-11). The diner is small but they made sure they accommodated us. When we were seated, we were instantly taken care of. Our server was the best and here's why. We mistakenly ordered my son the wrong pancakes. No hard feelings, the server went back and requested the ones he really wanted, they were promptly made. They were delicious as well and that made him happy. As for myself, I ordered the country fried steak w/ gravy, eggs, toast, and hash browns. All were 100% delicious! My fiance got the meatlovers omlett, although I didn't try it, he ate it quickly because he said it tasted so yummy. If I go back to this location again, I will definitely return to this restaurant, and I definitely recommend it to others in the city and traveling to.
What was supposed to be a wonderful meal at a new place became a horrible experience during and after. My wife and I were trying out Cafe 1907 with our family because we saw the sign at the corner of Main and River. When we got there we ended up waiting over an hour for our food, which can happen around the holidays. However, when we received our food it was terrible quality so much that my wife returned her food and passed on ordering anything else. Upon sending our food back, we spoke to the owner Trista who was rude and unprofessional. She went on to question if my wife had ever had a fresh Reuben sandwich, which is ridiculous for restaurant management to say to a customer in the first place. Once we received the bill, we noticed that they still charged us for the sandwich. We thought it was an error since we sent it back and did not eat it. We then asked to speak to the owner Trista again where she informed us that it was not her fault and that it was our opinion that we did not like it. As any normal patron to a restaurant, I was flabbergasted that not only a manager, but the actual owner would speak to a customer in such an unprofessional way. I’ve seen many corn-beef sandwiches and never once were they shaped like a small brown patty (I spoke with a family member that is a professional chef and he mentioned it didn’t look any good just from the picture because their was no grain in the meat). After she continued to bicker with my wife and mother-in-law in the middle of her own restaurant (which Is again in its self totally unprofessional) she did agree to remove the sandwich. Look I get it. It is a cafe in Manistee, we didn’t expect it to be Arcadia Buff quality, but the way the situation was managed was completely out of line and goes beyond anything I have ever witnessed in a restaurant before. I can only assume that she meant fresh canned corn beef.....Bottom line, it was a waste of our time and money. The rest of the food wasn’t any better either. None of the dressings or sauces were any good and I spend the rest of the day with an upset stomach from the chicken tenders.. Nothing looked or tasted fresh. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone that asks about a good place to eat in Manistee.
