3 weeks agoWe walked in and we sat ourselves. We asked for crayons and they said they had some but didn’t give us any. Breakfast sandwiches lowkey mid. Breakfast sandwich meat was hard. Home fries were buss. Probably not coming back,

2 months agoI'm shocked that this place has any negative reviews at all. I've been eating here for years and the food has always been generous portions and delicious. If you're looking for a meal like Mama used to make or dessert that tastes straight out of Grandma's kitchen then this is the place to go!

4 months agoI dined in today with my roommate. First timers. There was no instruction on where to sit so we seated ourselves. The only server did not see us so we let her know we had come in and needed menus. She out them down and asked what we wanted to drink as the menu did not list what products there were. No big deal. I asked for water with lemon. I guess it'd a no lemon establishment. Ok. Looking at the menu, I was surprised there were no meal options on the lunch side. Just buy a burger basically and then add fries. Mind you the fries were a handful of cheap frozen fries for $4.95. Overpriced if you ask me. Limited options. Decor was more than outdated. The server was more focused on her family members nestled in the back booth making noise than her job. I ordered nothing. Will not be back. My roommate's meal was $16.95 for basic burger and a handful of fries and drink. And some reused ketchup bottles I'm sure.

5 months agoWe googled a diner to have breakfast at..so happy we found this place. Food was amazing,our server was great. We even had pie for breakfast dessert. Highly recommend this place.will definitely be back

Edited 2 months agoWouldn't rate this place high at all. Guess we arrived too close to when they wanted to close. We just wanted to come in for a quick breakfast/lunch with our 2 kiddo's. We we're crossing the street in front of the restaurant to come over and waitress locked door as we pulled the handle to come in. I mean how RUDE. Would not ever give this place my business. Ate here before with out of town family and waitresses were rude and rushful. Guess we learned our lesson for trying to be nice and give them another chance. Reviews speak for themselves of this place.

a year agoWe stopped here after church around 11:45 AM, just before their noon closing. Service was slow — it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. Our server was short with us and told my young nephew he needed to “be patient” when he said he was hungry. After paying, while my sister finished a quick conversation, another staff member rudely told us and others to “take your conversations outside,” saying they had closed 45 minutes ago. When we mentioned the long wait, she blamed us for arriving close to closing time.When my sister said she’d never been treated so rudely, the server responded “you’re the rude ones, we closed almost an hour ago and you’re sitting in here talking, we’d like to go home” We told her we just paid our bills, she replied yes you’ve paid so please leave, we’d like to go home. I said we wouldn’t be returning, and her response was simply, “Good.” I’ve eaten here before and always felt rushed, but never treated this rudely. What a shame!

a year agoToday was the last time my family and I will ever patronize this restaurant. We’ve been loyal customers for years, always tipping generously and spending $60–$100 per visit. Today, after waiting 45 minutes for our food (without complaint), we paid our bill and were briefly discussing post-meal plans at the table. Out of nowhere, another server — who is also a real estate agent — abruptly told us, “Take it outside. We’re closed.” When we expressed surprise and stated we just got done paying the bill and was saying our goodbye she said, “If you paid your bill, good. Get out.” Not only did she chase out our family of six, but also six other shocked patrons. We’ve spent thousands here over the years, including hundreds on holiday pie orders. That ends today. Ironically, we had planned to ask her about listing our home — a significant commission lost. A harsh reminder: how you treat people always matters. You never know who’s sitting at your table.
