4 months agoMike, I hope you’re seeing this - This is the best Bahn Mi i’ve ever had today. I come to this restaurant quite regularly, Mike (the owner) is incredibly kind and a great host to people at the restaurant. I highly recommend.

8 months agoReally love the banh cuon here! The staff is all so nice and was so attentive to our needs. My husband got the bun Bo hue, and I would say this is even better than some of the classic establishments in Philly!

Edited 11 months agovery delicious mi quang. the tea is refreshing. They have the most tender and flavorful grilled pork banh mi in Philadelphia, the hoagie roll was toasted perfectly too. Updated: bun mam is so delicious, it’s mind-blowing

a year agoLet’s start with the Banh Beo Chen! It’s a small-steamed rice cake topped with mushroom/grounded pork sauce. It came steaming hot and super delicious! Add a bit of fish sauce and hot chili and it will be the best thing you ever try! The Mi Quang was also full of flavor. It’ll the mid-Viet style that is being transpire into their recipe. It reminds me of the true Miền Trung style food that you get from home. The store was super clean and there is a wide variety of drinks as well. Their food menu is small but it focuses on the Mid region of Vietnam. We’ll be back to try more!

Edited a year agoThis is our second visit. Bánh bèo chén and bún mắm are so good 😋. Staff are very friendly and made us feel at home. We will try banh cuon next time when we are in town again!

3 years agoYou can tell when a place owners take pride in their food. Cafe Hai Van has a small focused menu, food is legit with distinct flavors and fresh ingredients. Drinks are good too. The host is super nice and friendly. I will come back to try the rest of the menu as today’s Bun mam and Bun Bo & Banh mi thịt nướng (grilled pork) are authentically delicious!

5 years agoI love Quang Nam Style Noodle there, Authentic Mi Quang from Mid of Vietnam. Their Matcha Latte is made from Ceremonial Grade Matcha of Akimatcha.com #1 Matcha In USA Highly recommend !!!!
