See All ReviewsCafé Perks in Sanford is the definition of a hidden gem — the kind of place you could drive past a thousand times and never realize it’s there. It’s extremely mom-and-pop, and in the best way possible. The moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a true local establishment where everybody knows everybody. The service was very friendly, warm, and genuine. I ordered the omelette, and it tasted like something made right at home — simple, hearty, and homemade. This isn’t a five-star, fancy brunch restaurant, so don’t go in expecting that. What you do get is honest, home-cooked food and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a small-town kitchen. If you want the comfort of a real home-style breakfast and a place that reminds you of “where the locals eat,” Café Perks is absolutely worth the stop.
Country style atmosphere, food and people. Def. Southern food and hospitality. The B&G is AMAZING and I definitely recommend it if you're having a craving 😄. They're closing at the end of the year so won't be around much longer.
Everything you want in a small town diner. Feels almost the same as it did 20+ years ago with its former name. Go here give them business to keep this gem alive. Side note. Coffee was GOOD. Something I don’t usually expect to find at diners.
