See All ReviewsLovely little diner with a cozy atmosphere, not too busy when we visited in the morning. We all really liked our food, and staff was very sweet. I got the cream of chicken soup and house crepes, both were very good and above my expectations. I've had bad experiences with crepes at diners before so I'm very glad that these were so good!
We walked in and unfortunately walked out. Here’s why: It was our first time at Cafe Romeo:my husband, myself and my 4 year old son. We weren’t greeted with a smile…. Or a good morning… Or even a single word, Just stares. We had to be the first to speak! We said we needed a table for 3. She turned her back and went around to the table with menus, again no words. Just expected us to follow. She turned around and stared at us to ensure we did. When we sat down, again, not a single word. She then brought us water. To which I very intentionally looked her in the face and thanked. She again, said nothing. As she left us confused and approached the register again, another couple walked in. She happily greeted them with a loud “Hello!”. I couldn’t believe it and I still don’t understand it. We got up and left, sad and hungry. Because I’d much rather walk away hungry than give this type of service my business. It was my first and last time at Cafe Romeo. I’ll take my business to another family owned diner than ALWAYS welcomes us with a smile. NIKOS BREAKFAST CLUB.
