On this day, I went on a Saturday. It was busy people waiting outside tables full took my order to go. I know I’m gonna go during in the middle of the week at lunch high and it is much quieter. It’s still people in there, but not as many as the weekend it’s a very busy place and some finger licking food.
This place was fantastic! I can see now why such a long wait to get a table. We put our names on the waitlist and it took about 2 hours to get a table which seemed ridiculous at the time but I get it now! We had a medium spice boil with shrimp, clams, lobster tails, potatoes and corn. Everything was tender and the sauce was so flavorful, the lobster was spectacular 10/10. Our server was the perfect amount of attentive and very professional. I will definitely be coming back here very soon. My only complaint would be the bathroom, it’s very nicely decorated but it could use more janitorial attention.
One of the absolute best boil places in the Bay Area. The combination of sauces is delicious. They're so flavorful and robust. You just want to dip everything in it. The portions of seafood are good but they're a little stingy on the sausage, giving only 1 sausage cut up into 4 pieces. Otherwise, this is an excellent place for seafood boil.
It was my first time, my older kids love this place. Very open atmosphere. The food was good, the service was even better. High chairs for Itty kitties, welcoming environment for kids. We had a fun time all around. Loved the fried pickles! We enjoyed the crab legs, deveined shrimp and crawfish. The housemade strawberry lemonade was very pleasant. Do yourself a favor. Wear the bib AND the gloves! Everybody's doing it! There's a reason!😏
I really enjoyed my time there, sweet servers for one. One kind lady server was named Pauline. She was amazing and she took good care of me and my family really well!! The food is also very flavorful and fresh. If you are a spice lover, you are going to love it!! The shrimp and crab is amazing. I had a boil and I will be going back!
So glad I found this place! Not many good Cajun spots around the East Bay and this one really hits the mark. Delicious food and great vibe☺️❤️
This would be my second time coming here. I love seafood and seafood boil. I’ve been to a few different places that serve this type of food and each serve different things on the menu and some similar. So, for the seafood boil you have a choice of Combos 1,2,3 etc. just depends or what you want and how much you want to eat. You have a choice of shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, crawfish or lobster. We had a big party so we ordered a few of the Combos and additional other things from the menu. My group got Combo #2 (Cajun garlic sauce) and four of us shared it. It was more than enough and we still had a little bit of left overs. We ordered garlic noodles. That was fire. Noodles were cooked just right and have tons of garlic but not overwhelming. Thus far it seems like the spice level here might be higher than others. I usually order the mild and I do okay but here it seemed like the mild was a medium. But, I still loved it. Just had to eat more rice to lessen the spice haha. I have to say Cajun Crackn has more seafood choices than others. I was surprised to see lobster as a choice for the boil. The service is great! The food came fast and it was nice and hot! My cup of water was always filled. The atmosphere - it has a modern industrial look. It’s cute. They have a full bar. This place is good for small or big group parties. I’d say it’s family friendly. I give my whole experience 4.5 stars but I recommend this place 100 percent!
I'm always happy when a Cajun seafood restaurant opens near me. While I try to keep my expectations in check because I know that nothing will ever come close to Boiling Crab, this place is still more than adequate. I absolutely love the flavors of their sauce, and the amount of sauce they gave me was just the right amount. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the I loved that there soaked in that sauce. The dining area is pretty big, so wait times should not be too much of a problem. The bibs and the gloves were also a huge help. I didn't smell as bad because of them. The atmosphere was very live and jubilant, and the staff was very friendly. And, I can't not say this: the waitresses are super hot. SMOKING HOT!
