We usually stop in for Brazilian food before flying out of Newark- been here a couple times now. Great food, great service! Brigada gente!
I’ve been a customer for a lest 3 years now! The food is soul food and really the Minas Gerais root! I love in there and always recommend to my friends. Recently, the price got a bit up but it’s understandable since food price in general have increased in past few years. I hope once the food prices start to get down they also adjust their prices back.
I’ve eaten here several times in the past and the food used to be pretty decent. And the Price didn’t used to be too exorbitant. It’s a buffet style and the price is by the weight. I always get about the same thing and normally get out of there for about $25. I ate there this evening. The meat was extremely gamy. I couldn’t even eat it. The chicken lasagna used to be decent. Tonight it looked like it had been sitting there for 12 hours. The pasta had turned hard as a rock. The bill came to over $40. I was shocked. And to add insult to injury, they’ve started adding an automatic gratuity. I paid a five dollar tip for someone to bring me a cup of ice. I won’t be returning.
